  1. Nice work 1/2c. I could do with a scissor holder at home. My scissors are always dissappearing into the children’s bedrooms. It takes them a long time to bring them back to the kitchen drawer. Have fun running the lapathon tomorrow!
Charlie just showed me the class blog as he is home with a sore throat. He is missing you all.

  2. Hey 1/2C – What a great website this is !
    Congratulations.
Fergus just talked me through all the activities. I am in Dallas, Texas, USA for work and Fergus asked me to check out your blog so there would be another visitor on the Cluster Map.
Well done from Fergus’ Dad (Toby)

  4. What a fantastic blog 1/2C. I’m so glad that one of your favourite books is Mirror by Jeannie Baker. Have you read any of her other books? I like Window, Home and Belonging. I wonder if you would enjoy those too? Cheers Sophie

  5. Hi Georgia,

  7. Hi Cobie and class. This morning I stayed for assembly to hear the choir sing. WOW! I was so impressed. I even had a little tear in my eye, the sound was so beautiful. Congratulations to Cobie and Tessa and any of the kids who were part of the choir. I hope 1/2C can sing something special for us parents one day. Love Sally

  8. Hi Sally,

Thank you for your comment. We could sing a song for you and the other parents. We write our own songs in class. Our first finished song is called ‘We Can Be Friends’. It is a really catchy tune. It’s about friendship. You should come into our grade one day and we will sing it for you, hopefully we do some singing at assembly next term as well!

    • Hi Sam R!

Thanks for commenting! We have had a fun week, settling back into school. Our Inquiry Unit this term is all about science and we have been doing some cool experiements. You are very lucky- still on holidays in Bali! Yes Sam did become a Dad, he had a little girl called Evie. We wonder is she is named after the Evie in our class? Is it really hot in Bali? Are you having fun?

  10. Hi Cobie,

This is Alexia. I am in Koh Samui with my family on holidays. My maths has improved alot because now I know how to carry, because my mum taught me and my dad corrected the sums. I hope you have a wonderful class this year. I am starting school on Friday as we are still on holidays for 2 more days. I will come to say hello to you then.

    Love from Alexia:)
